Practice Principal James Mehta
James qualified from Edinburgh University in 1982, and apart from a brief period working in hospitals and in practice in Norwich, moved to Creffield Lodge in late 1983. James is proud to be a general dental practitioner and enjoys offering a full range of treatments to his patients.
James also works part-time in the Oral Surgery Department at Essex County Hospital where he rehabilitates patients who have suffered from head and neck cancer.
James is a member of the board of trustees of the UK’s leading dental charity, British Dental Health Foundation.
Outside dentistry James is a keen target rifle shooter and represents Essex regularly.

Associate Dentist Tawseef Nazki
"Naz" qualified from Guy's University Hospital in 2003 and finished his training in Brightlingsea.
Originally from Birmingham, Naz has been working at Creffield Lodge since September 2005 and is really enjoying his time here. He does his utmost to look after his patients with care and attention.
Naz's interests are mainly sporting, playing cricket, football and hockey. He also enjoys reading.

Dr Carl Manhem
Dr Carl Manhem is a surgical specialist and works part-time at Creffield Lodge. His interest is oral and maxillofacial surgery and implantology, and he is responsible for the management of our surgical cases including the placement of dental implants.
Carl trained in Sweden and Denmark, and normally works in London, where he teaches at the Eastman Dental Institute as well as working in Harley Street. He has lectured on Implantology around the world.
Carl is pleased to accept referrals from other dental practitioners.

Annabel Mehta
Dental hygienist Annabel Mehta works part time. She is particularly keen on preventive dentistry, and helping to motivate patients.

Clare Fluck Offord
Clare is the practice manageress, looking after the paperwork. She has worked in dental practices since 1970, qualifying as a dental nurse in 1974.
Additionally she has worked in estate agents and in the financial services industry. She has worked at Creffield Lodge since 2001, when she moved from a dental practice in West Mersea.
Clare loves her cats, and breeds Birmans.

Marie Bromfield
Hi, I'm Marie, but all my friends and colleagues call me Rie-Rie. I started dental nursing in 1988 and I'm still going strong! I qualified in 1993, and passed the Dental Nurse Radiography exams in 2005.
I've worked in a few practices over the years, and even for the RAF in Cyprus where I was a civilian dental nurse. I've been at Creffield Lodge since 1999 and I enjoy working here more than anywhere else!

Laura Palmer
Hello, my name is Laura. After leaving College with 4 A levels I was unsure what career path to pursue. I worked in an office and as a receptionist but never felt happy.
In 2009 I was delighted to be offered a job at Creffield Road as a trainee dental nurse after two very nerve-wracking interviews! I've now been here for two and a half years and qualified as a dental nurse in 2010.
I now feel I can have a very happy and enjoyable long-term career in dentistry.

Steph Horner
Steph started work as a dental nurse in 1989 and qualified from Colchester Institute in 1993. During her 22 years she developed a keen interest in Orthodontics and Oral Surgery.
Making a transition from mainly clinical to administrative 6 years ago, Steph still keeps her hand in as scrub nurse assisting our Oral Surgeon and Implant Specialist Carl Manhem.
Steph is currently an examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses. Steph is a keen runner, and is looking forward to running the London Marathon in 2012. Sponsorship please!

Zoe Wood
Hi, I'm Zoe. I've been a dental nurse since 1987, but took lots of time out to be a Mum, and a part-time pre-school assistant. I've been back in dentistry since 2003, and qualified in 2007.
I love the variety of tasks that we have to do, and really enjoy chatting with all the nice patients at Creffield Lodge.
Outside work I run a men's Saturday League football team with my brother. Come on Abbeyfields!

Linda Ebdon
My name is Linda, or Lindy as I'm called here at Creffield Lodge.
I've worked at Creffield Lodge forever! I started just before my 18th birthday, and will be celebrating my 50th next year! I used to do a lot of gym and running, but my body is telling me to be a bit more careful so I am enjoying long walks in the countryside now.
