Practice Principal James Mehta qualified from Edinburgh University in 1982, and has worked in Colchester since 1984. He has a special interest in restorative and implant dentistry. He also works in the Oral Surgery Department at Essex County Hospital, Colchester. Outside the practice James is a member of the Board of Trustees of the British Dental Health Foundation, the leading UK-based dental charity, as well as a member of the Council of the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses where he has a special role in the examination of dental nurses in dental radiography James is passionate about flying, target-rifle shooting, and cricket (although not as actively as he used to be!) |

Associate Dentist Tawseef Nazki qualified from Guy's Hospital in 2003 before completing his training in General Dental Practice in Brightlingsea. Naz is a very keen cricketer and hockey player. He joined the practice in September 2005, and is already a firm favourite with the patients. Naz got married in November 2006 and is looking forward to settling down in Colchester for good! |

Dental hygienist Annabel Mehta works part time. She is particularly keen on preventive dentistry, and helping to motivate patients. |

Dr Carl Manhem is a surgical specialist and works part-time at Creffield Lodge. His interest is Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Implantology, and he is responsible for the management of our surgical cases including the placement of dental implants. Carl trained in Sweden and Denmark, and normally works in London, where he teaches at the Eastman Dental Institute as well as as working in Harley Street. He has lectured on Implantology around the world. Carl is pleased to accept referrals from other dental practitioners. |
