Almost a decade ago, our senior partner, James Mehta, completed training at the Royal College of Surgeons enabling him to carry out non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments.
Quick, simple and safe procedures are carried out in our treatment rooms during normal opening hours.
They are designed to restore and refresh the face without creating an over-treated appearance.
- delay the signs of ageing without surgery
- soften facial expression lines and wrinkles
- restore youthful volume to your skin
Cost estimates will be provided along with your initial consultation.
Treatments for lines and wrinkles are increasingly popular with both men and women.
By temporarily relaxing wrinkles on the face and softening facial expression lines, this quick and simple treatment gently erases the tell-tale signs of ageing, in particular:
- frown lines between the eyes and above the nose
- forehead lines
- crow’s feet
We use Botulinum Toxin (commonly known as Botox) for wrinkle reduction.
This has been safely used for over 25 years and works by making facial muscles less active.
It is injected in tiny doses using a very fine needle – most patients need only one treatment, and the results take about one to two weeks to fully develop.
The effect lasts for around four months after which you may want a top up. Without repeated treatment, persistent wrinkles will gradually return.
Botox therapy is rarely painful as the needles are so fine and the dose injected so tiny.
These are designed for deeper lines and wrinkles.
Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness. It can refresh your looks by supporting your skin’s natural structure.
It’s designed to ‘fill out’ and smooth away wrinkles in troublesome areas:
- nose-to-mouth grooves
- forehead lines
- frown furrows
- lipstick lines
- crow’s feet
Restylane is also injected using a very fine needle.
The tissues may take a few days to settle following injection, and the effects will eventually wear off after about 12 months as the naturally occurring product is absorbed.
Topical anaesthetic is used for filler injections, and most people find this quite sufficient. If you are still uncomfortable then we can use a local anaesthetic.
The atmosphere at the practice is restful and professional. I have to say it is a pleasure to talk to James and his colleagues, and I actually look forward to my visits. A few days before your appointment the practice will ring you to remind you.
