Our principal dentist, Dr Jack Acorn, joined Creffield Lodge in September 2023. He graduated from Sheffield Dental School in 2013 and completed his foundation year training in Norwich.
Between 2014 and 2023, he worked as an associate dentist in Chelmsford, which is also where he is from. During this time, he became accomplished in Invisalign®, fixed orthodontics, and most areas of cosmetic dentistry, including composite bonding, porcelain veneers, and dental implants. He has a postgraduate certificate in orthodontics and restorative dentistry and a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic dentistry.
Jack is dedicated to perfection, which is evident in the continuous training and development he undergoes, as well as the outstanding patient results he has achieved. He is proud to be the owner of Creffield Lodge and is the driving force behind keeping the practice up with modern technology whilst maintaining our family-focused, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Outside of work, Jack is a keen Rugby winger and played for Chelmsford’s first team for 10 years, becoming their all-time record try scorer. With his time becoming slightly limited after taking over at Creffield Lodge and the birth of his daughter in the same month (understatement!), he hung up his first team boots at the end of the 2023-24 season but continues to play socially and loves to play golf!
