I have been with the practice for about about 30 + years.This visit was no different than all of the others apart from the transformation of the interior into a more pleasing and beautiful environment.The staff were welcoming, friendly, communicative, interested and caring.Jack and Laura had my best interests at heart for the two appointments I attended, hygiene work and a my teeth and gums check up.
I had to have a crown fitted. Then entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Creffield Dental are outstanding; in terms of service, contact, professionalism, friendliness and follow ups. Can’t praise them enough.
Absolutely incredible- life saver!! Chipped a tooth (front) Saturday evening and was lucky to be seen and fixed Sunday morning, completely relaxed and made to feel comfortable (always scary at the dentist) beautiful clinic too!
Fitted me in at short notice for an emergency appointment. Not my usual dentist but Rob was very thorough and has prescribed antibiotics on the strength of his findings. Just hope they kick in soon and do their job. Thanks for seeing me quickly and offering a great service.

Just been to see my super duper hygienist. The surgery has been upgraded and they have done a fantastic job. It looks so clean and sleek in a subtle grey and white with all new furniture.
A patient for over 40 years, originally with James Mehta and now Jack Acorn, this in itself speaks volumes about the practice. It has a lovely family feel, team members who always recognise and welcome me, and whilst I am fortunate to only go bi-annually for check-ups and hygienist appointments, I always feel Jack gives my teeth and mouth a thorough check. I know if there was ever an emergency requiring treatment, I would get seen quickly, which is very reassuring. The reception team, dental nurses and hygienists are a great asset to the practice, kind and friendly, plus easy parking outside and adjoining roads. Currently undergoing refurbishment which will transform the practice even further.
Just had bonding done by Dr. Jack at Creffield Lodge and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results! The whole experience was smooth, professional, and actually really relaxing (didn’t expect that at the dentist!). They took so much care to match the shape and colour perfectly — my teeth look completely natural but noticeably better.

I went for a checkup with Dr Jack Acorn, and the experience was one of the utmost professional and relaxing experiences I have had at a dental surgery. I arrived a little early, expecting a little waiting time, and barely had enough time to check the news on my phone. Dr Acorn was extremely engaging, knowledgeable and prompt. I saw the dental hygienist today and as usual I had a superb experience. The staff are very professional friendly and supportive . She answered all of my questions and offered health advice at the end of my appointment, together with a review of my most recent X rays. I can definitely recommend this practice and now my son and grandson are also patients here.

I had an amazing experience. I called in this morning and had an emergency appointment booked in for 4 hours later where I got my wisdom tooth removed. It had been causing me intense pain for about a week but the whole process took 10 minutes. The dentist was lovely and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend for a nervous patient
I have spent lots of money on trying to save my teeth and I might of well thrown my money away. I was recommended creffield dentist and I’m so pleased I went. I had a consultation and it wasn’t cheap but not overpriced for the amount of work I’ve needed. I listened to the dentist and put my trust in his expertise. The dental nurse was so reassuring because I am very nervous patient. I’m about half way though and I’m buzzing with just how happy I am.

Jack is a brilliant dentist. I feel safe in his care regarding my teeth and gums and bones. I felt I really got my monies worth and had a very thorough examination of my teeth and mouth. He's a charming person too! I thought James Metha would be very hard to replace as he was superbrilliant too but Jack is definitely on a par! And both big Laura and Bradley (who I have been to), the hygienists are fabulous and thorough and gentle. So it's a thumbs up from me!
DR Acorn is frankly the best dentist I have ever had.. I have followed him to his new practise in Colchester where his outstanding level of skill, expertise and experience combines with a caring disposition and a mindset that always puts the patient first. One day, My tooth suddenly broke, leaving the root intact in the gum! Went to consult Jack Acorn who has been treating my dental care at his previous dental surgery in Chelmsford. Managed to get an appointment and Jack extracted the root quickly and efficiently without much pain. He then advised me what to expect and do when I get home later. All went well. Thank you Jack.
I have always had a fear of dentists and honestly had neglected my teeth. At the age of 62 my top front teeth were very gappy and yellow to the extent that I hid my smile and my confidence too.Then a friend mentioned composite bonding and recommended Jack at Creffield. I took the plunge and made a consultation appointment.Jack listened to my concerns and did not judge me for neglecting my teeth. He explained the process of the journey I would need to go through to enable me to have composite bonding and roughly 12 weeks later the journey was complete.I can honestly say this has really given me a huge confidence boost and I can now smile happily without hiding away.Thank you Jack and all the team at Creffield. Having had a fabulous dentist for most of my years of having teeth, I was nervous when Jack took over. However on my first check up with him I explained about how painful the left side of my jaw had been for quite sometime, to the point I couldn’t concentrate. A theory and measurements taken I was given a night mouth guard. A month on and the pain has practically disappeared I am very grateful and Thankyou!

The contact with Dr Acorn was very pleasant. He has excellent staff with him too.However, I was not so happy being asked to sit on "the landing".It obviously helped with the efficiency of the process, but it is not a comfortable place to wait while contemplating about meeting your dentist.There were no distractions such as there are in the waiting room. I also felt unhappy about sitting beside a low bannister looking down over the stairs. A risk assessment might address my concerns.I would be quite happy to enter the dental surgery unescorted. That's what happens at my doctor's surgery. No problem.I look forward to hearing a response.

They are really so good specially a Doctor Jack ,first time when I came and seat on chair i was so stress and scared, he help me from then pain he explained to me what to do after my taken of out 3 teeth, i strongly recommended. Thank you to Jack and nurses they are so friendly and helpful.

Very good service and expertise recommended, been with them 40plus years. Jack has done a tricky root canal for me and showed me the x-rays and explained everything in my second visit today, having it capped off with a crown in the new year. Jack was fabulous with his knowledge and treatment. I now have aligned teeth with a great bite. The changes have assisted my wellbeing, looks great and I now have better sleep. Having been mightily impressed with Rob Coster when he practiced in my home town of Dunmow, I now make the journey to Colchester to continue being treated by him. The practice has a very good feel to it, always welcoming, professional and efficient.

It is well organised, is clean and tidy and is run by a dedicated team. Appointments are kept to time and staff are friendly, efficient, polite and always willing to help.
